**Madurai, May 11, 2025** – The water level in the Mullaperiyar dam currently stands at 114.55 feet, below the maximum permissible level of 142 feet, according to the latest update. Inflow is reported at 294 cusecs, with a discharge of 100 cusecs. Meanwhile, the Vaigai dam level is at 54.43 feet (maximum 71 feet), with inflow at 28 cusecs and discharge at 822 cusecs. The combined storage in the Periyar system is 2,056.81 mcft. This information was released this morning.
