The May 9th ruling overturned a Delhi High Court order that sought the removal of a Wikipedia page detailing ongoing court proceedings.

Gopakumar lauded the Supreme Court’s emphasis on Article 19(1)(a) of the Indian Constitution, which guarantees freedom of speech and expression.
