**Bengaluru, May 11, 2025** – Madiwala police swiftly apprehended a 26-year-old loan recovery agent for the murder of his neighbor and friend. Infant Raj, employed by a private bank, allegedly killed 28-year-old IT employee Martin Simon after a drunken argument on Friday night.
The two men, who lived in the same building in Venkateshwara Layout and frequently socialized, reportedly argued over liquor during a rooftop drinking session. Raj allegedly struck Simon in the head with a cement brick, fleeing the scene afterward. Witnesses reported seeing Raj running away, leading police to discover Simon’s body.
Police arrested Raj within hours, and he reportedly confessed to the crime, attributing it to a dispute over purchasing more alcohol. However, authorities are investigating further to determine if additional motives were involved. The case has been registered as murder.
