**Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu, May 11, 2025** – A 53-year-old woman, identified as Chitra, was robbed of her six-sovereign gold chain at her home in Santhaipettai, Sivaganga, on Saturday night. Two masked women, who entered her house, sprayed her with chilli powder before snatching the chain and fleeing on a motorcycle. Karaikudi South police have registered a case and are currently investigating the incident. Chitra was alone at the time of the robbery.
