Sun May 11 14:46:15 UTC 2025: ## History-Sheeter Found Dead Near Farmland in Vellore District
**Ranipet, May 11, 2025** – A 35-year-old history-sheeter, K. Ayyappan, was found dead with injuries near his farmland in Tiruvalam village, on the border of Vellore and Ranipet districts, on Sunday. Police confirmed Ayyappan had at least 10 prior criminal cases filed against him.
According to police reports, Ayyappan lived with his parents and had recently begun constructing a house on his farmland, while also engaging in farming. After he failed to return home Saturday night, his father discovered his body in a pool of blood Sunday morning and alerted authorities. Ayyappan’s body was transported to the Government Medical College Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
A case has been registered, and police are currently investigating, analyzing CCTV footage along the route to identify potential suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
