**Hyderabad, May 11, 2025** – The Hyderabad Special Task Force (STF) of the Excise department conducted two separate raids resulting in significant drug seizures. In the first raid in Ayodhya Nagar, Quthbullapur, 300 grams of hashish oil (valued at ₹3 lakh) were recovered, leading to the arrest of two individuals, Subhash and Ramachandra Raju. A third suspect, Raju, remains at large. A separate raid in Dhoolpet yielded 1.212 kg of marijuana and the arrest of Arjun Singh, while another suspect, Sanju, escaped. Both cases are under investigation.
In a separate operation, Shamshabad Excise Police raided a farmhouse in Moinabad, seizing 52 bottles of illegal liquor worth ₹4 lakh. The liquor, including bottles sourced from Delhi and defense canteens, was being served without proper permits at a private function. The raid resulted in the confiscation of 50 bottles of Delhi liquor, four from Goa, three bottles of duty-paid Telangana liquor, and 12 beer bottles. Investigations are ongoing.
