**ROCK SPRINGS, WYOMING – May 5, 2025** – David M. Thomas, a longtime resident of Rock Springs, passed away peacefully at his home on May 1, 2025, at the age of 81. Mr. Thomas was born in Butte, Montana on December 12, 1943, to William and Katherine Thomas. He dedicated his career to Bridger Coal, retiring after many years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Thomas; daughters Michane Risner, Sandy Thomas, Rachel Thomas, and Debi Knezovich; and brothers Larry and Steve Thomas. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
