The spin-off of the hugely popular “Sistas” will stream exclusively on BET+ the following day. This marks the first project under Perry’s expanded multi-year deal with BET Media Group, a partnership hailed as one of the most significant between a Black creator and a media company.
“Divorced Sistas” follows five friends as they navigate the complexities of divorce, relationships, and self-discovery. Created, written, and directed by Perry, the series promises to explore themes of resilience, female friendship, and the challenges of loyalty within close-knit circles. The ensemble cast features LeToya Luckett, Khadeen Indréa, Porscha Coleman, Briana Price, and Jennifer Sears, supported by RonReaco Lee, DeVon Franklin, Donovan Christie Jr., and Robert Christopher Riley.
