SONBHADRA, Uttar Pradesh – Three individuals have been arrested in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly posting objectionable content against Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media. Police arrested Shabbir Ansari, Zubair Ansari, and Izhar following a complaint filed by Bal Gopal Chaurasia.
According to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kalu Singh, the investigation revealed the posts were anti-national and suggested the suspects were sharing sensitive information with hostile foreign entities. Police allege the accused used edited content from a Pakistani YouTuber’s Facebook page to portray Prime Minister Modi in a negative light. The case is currently under investigation.
