Sun May 11 10:34:17 UTC 2025: ## India Launches Retaliatory Strikes Against Pakistan Following Ceasefire Violation

**Hubballi, Karnataka, May 11, 2025** – Union Minister Pralhad Joshi announced today that India has launched retaliatory strikes against Pakistan following a ceasefire violation and continued cross-border terrorist attacks. The strikes, which reportedly destroyed nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and POK on the first day, resulted in numerous terrorist casualties and the dismantling of significant terrorist infrastructure.

Minister Joshi accused Pakistan of demonstrating “double standards” by supporting cross-border terrorism while claiming to observe a ceasefire. He asserted that Pakistan’s defence forces operate independently of the elected government. He highlighted the government’s unprecedented stance, declaring that any act of terror will be considered an act of war.

The minister cited the recent Pahalgam attack as the catalyst for India’s decisive response, emphasizing that the Indian Army was given a free hand to act. He claimed that India’s response has effectively curbed terrorist activity, contrasting the current situation with the higher levels of terrorist attacks in the 1980s and 1990s.

Joshi further stated that Pakistan’s DGMO initially requested a ceasefire following the initial retaliatory strikes, but subsequently violated it, prompting the further military action. He asserted that India, while a peace-loving nation, will not tolerate attacks and will respond forcefully to any aggression. The minister concluded by emphasizing the unified national response to the recent terrorist threat and the decisive action taken by the Indian armed forces.
