**Illuru, Garladinne Mandal:** A 21-year-old woman, Lakshminarasamma, from Illuru village in Garladinne Mandal, ended her life by suicide on Friday night. The incident occurred after the postponement of her wedding, scheduled for the 13th and 14th of this month.
According to police and local sources, Lakshminarasamma’s wedding to a young man from Kammakottala village in Guntakal Mandal was postponed due to the death of a relative on the 7th of this month. Previous postponements had reportedly caused her significant distress, leading to her suicide.
Family members discovered her body on Saturday morning and immediately informed the police. An investigation has been launched following a complaint filed by the family. Sub-Inspector Gaus Basha confirmed that a case has been registered and the investigation is underway.
