**New Delhi, May 11, 2025** – The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will introduce two key motions during the upcoming Delhi Assembly Budget Session, Leader of the Opposition (LoP) Atishi announced Saturday. The two-day session, beginning May 13th, will see AAP move a condemnation motion against the recent Pahalgam terror attack and a motion of thanks for the armed forces.
Atishi stated that the condemnation resolution will strongly denounce the attack on unarmed civilians, calling it an act against humanity. She further announced a motion to honor the armed forces and their families for their efforts in Operation Sindoor, a decisive battle against terrorism. The AAP believes the Delhi Assembly, alongside the nation, stands firmly with the armed forces in their fight against terrorism. The first part of the Budget Session, which saw the tabling of a ₹1-lakh-crore budget by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, concluded on March 24th.
