Sun May 11 12:00:00 UTC 2025: ## India-Pakistan Ceasefire After Four Days of Intense Clashes
**Islamabad, May 8** – A ceasefire has been declared between India and Pakistan following four days of intense cross-border conflict involving drone strikes, missile attacks, and fighter jet bombardments. While Pakistan initially vowed to fight to the death, sources suggest that the country was ultimately compelled to seek a ceasefire after fearing a potentially devastating Indian response. Pakistan reportedly approached the United Nations before its Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMOs) engaged in direct hot-line talks with their Indian counterparts, leading to the agreement.
The DGMOs are scheduled to meet on May 12th at noon. India has issued a stern warning, stating that any future terrorist attacks will be considered an “act of war” with significantly harsher consequences than those experienced this time. The United States, meanwhile, has maintained a neutral stance while delivering a strong message to Islamabad.
