**INDIANAPOLIS, IN** – Former Philadelphia 76ers guard T.J. McConnell, who went undrafted out of Arizona in 2015, is looking to win his first NBA title with the Indiana Pacers. McConnell recently reminisced about his four seasons in Philadelphia on “The Young Man and the Three” podcast, expressing deep gratitude for the city and its fans.

“That crowd… playing in front of them, it was pretty incredible,” McConnell said. “People to this day… they show a lot of love, so I got a lot of love for the fans of Philadelphia for sure.”

During his time with the Sixers, McConnell became a fan favorite, embodying the team’s “Process” era with his tenacious play and relentless hustle. He averaged 6.4 points, 4.7 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game, contributing significantly to the team’s transformation from league cellar-dweller to Eastern Conference Finals contender in 2019.

Now with the Pacers, who currently hold a 1-0 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, McConnell is focused on a championship run. Game 2 is scheduled for Tuesday night.
