Fri May 09 19:50:00 UTC 2025: **NBC Cancels Stephen Amell’s “Suits LA” After One Season**

LOS ANGELES – NBC has cancelled its legal drama *Suits LA* after just one season, Deadline has exclusively learned. The spin-off of the popular USA Network series *Suits*, headlined by Stephen Amell, failed to meet expectations despite a high-profile cast and marketing efforts.

Despite bringing back popular *Suits* actors Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, and David Costabile for guest appearances, and even staging a three-hour marathon of repeats, viewership remained consistently low, hovering around 1 million viewers in Live+Same Day ratings. The show also failed to gain significant traction on streaming platforms.

This marks the second *Suits* spin-off to be cancelled after a single season, following USA’s *Pearson*. The cancellation comes as NBC faces scheduling challenges due to NBA coverage and follows the axing of several other shows, including *The Irrational*, *Found*, *Night Court*, and *Lopez vs. Lopez*.

*Suits LA*, created by Aaron Korsh, centered on Ted Black (Amell), a former federal prosecutor navigating the high-stakes legal world of Los Angeles. The ensemble cast also included Lex Scott Davis, Josh McDermitt, Bryan Greenberg, and several others, along with notable guest stars such as John Amos, Victoria Justice, and Patton Oswalt. Despite the star power, the show couldn’t overcome its low ratings and will not return for a second season.
