**Rayachoti, Andhra Pradesh – May 10, 2025** – Andhra Pradesh’s Transport Minister, Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy, has reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to eradicating poverty by 2029. Speaking at a public forum (“Praja Darbar”) in Annamayya district, Minister Reddy emphasized the government’s focus on welfare schemes designed to reach all eligible citizens.
The Minister highlighted the current administration’s efforts to identify and assist previously overlooked beneficiaries of welfare programs. He announced the imminent rollout of new pensions, ration cards, and housing allotments to those identified as needing assistance, particularly those below the poverty line (BPL). Reddy urged recipients to utilize these schemes effectively. A large number of citizens attended the Praja Darbar to submit petitions directly to the Minister. The government’s approach, according to Reddy, is geared towards inclusive growth and welfare-oriented governance.
