Sat May 10 12:50:00 UTC 2025: ## India Launches Retaliatory Air Strikes Against Pakistan

**NEW DELHI** – In a significant escalation of tensions, the Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted retaliatory air strikes against multiple Pakistani military bases late last night. The strikes, a response to a purported Pakistani attack following India’s “Operation Sindur,” reportedly destroyed six military installations used to launch drone and missile attacks against India.

Colonel Sophia Qureshi, in a press conference, detailed the operation, stating that the IAF targeted Pakistani technical installations, command and control centers, radar sites, and weapons depots with precision strikes. The targeted bases included Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, Chunion, as well as Rafiki, Murid, and Chaklala. A radar site in Pasrur and an aviation base in Sialkot were also reportedly hit.

Colonel Qureshi emphasized that the Indian armed forces responded swiftly and strategically after Pakistan deliberately targeted Indian air bases. She highlighted that India minimized civilian casualties and damage to public property during the operation. The extent of Pakistani casualties and damage is yet to be independently verified. The Pakistani government has yet to issue an official statement. This development marks a dramatic escalation in the ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan.
