GUDLAVALLERU, Andhra Pradesh – May 9, 2025 – Two teenagers were killed and five others injured when a tractor carrying a wedding party overturned in Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh, on Thursday morning. The accident occurred near Gajulapadu village when the driver reportedly attempted to retrieve his mobile phone from his pocket, causing the vehicle to overturn.

The deceased have been identified as 16-year-old Mutyala Tharun and 15-year-old Kanakapalli Abhisheik, both residents of Vinnakota mandal. The injured were transported to a private hospital for treatment. The group was traveling to a wedding ceremony at Gajulapadu village. Police are investigating the incident.
