BENGALURU, INDIA (May 9, 2025) – The Hindu Huddle, a leading ideas conclave, returned to Bengaluru today for its fifth edition after a five-year hiatus. Over two days, leading figures from across India and the region will engage in discussions on critical issues shaping the nation and the world.
The event features a diverse range of speakers and sessions. Chief Ministers from four Indian states—Siddaramaiah (Karnataka), N. Chandrababu Naidu (Andhra Pradesh), A Revanth Reddy (Telangana), and Devendra Fadnavis (Maharashtra)—will debate federalism, coalition governance, social justice, and India’s economic aspirations. Prominent figures from India’s film industry, including Anurag Kashyap and Nandita Das, will explore the evolving landscape of filmmaking. A session dedicated to women’s cricket will feature legends Shantha Rangaswamy and Mithali Raj. Other panels will address critical issues such as health, artificial intelligence, the workplace, climate change, and the delicate balance between national security and political pragmatism in the context of rising tensions with Pakistan. Former Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will also participate, offering insights into subcontinental geopolitics.
The Hindu Huddle aims to foster dialogue and understanding on key policy issues and societal values. Organizers envision the annual event as a platform for shaping national and global discourse.
