Tirumurti, has sharply criticized Western powers for their differing responses to the India-Pakistan conflict and the Russia-Ukraine war. Speaking to *The Hindu*, Tirumurti accused the West of double standards, stating that while urging Ukraine to retaliate against Russia, they demand restraint from India, a nation he says is a victim of terrorism.
Tirumurti cited “Operation Sindoor,” a recent Indian military operation, as evidence of Pakistan’s harboring of terrorists. He asserted that India’s actions were limited to targeting terrorist camps and that no further proof of Pakistan’s culpability was necessary. He further claimed that Operation Sindoor exposed Pakistan’s nuclear bluff and expressed hope that the operation would lead to a regime change in Pakistan. The comments follow a recent terror attack in Pahalgam.
