LUCKNOW, India (May 9, 2025) – Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today accused Pakistan of continued complicity in terrorism, asserting that the country’s actions have led to its global isolation. Speaking at an event commemorating Maharana Pratap’s birth anniversary, Mr. Adityanath cited the April 22nd terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, as evidence of Pakistan’s support for terror groups.
He highlighted the Indian armed forces’ response to the attack and claimed that Pakistan is now weakened and isolated internationally. Mr. Adityanath further criticized the reported participation of Pakistani political and military figures in the funerals of individuals killed during counter-terrorism operations, stating that this proves Pakistan’s deep-rooted involvement in terrorism.
He called on Indian citizens to support the armed forces and remain vigilant against misinformation. Mr. Adityanath emphasized the need for national unity to counter external threats, stating that India will overcome any challenges. His comments follow recent heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, and come amidst ongoing security concerns in Jammu and Kashmir.
