**Visakhapatnam, May 9, 2025** – Over 5,000 young people attended a job fair organized by the Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Centre in Pendurthi on Friday. The mela featured approximately 50 prominent companies offering employment opportunities.

Home Minister V. Anitha, highlighting the success of the event, contrasted the current job market with the perceived high unemployment under the previous administration. She attributed the improved employment situation to the efforts of IT Minister Nara Lokesh, who promised to create 20 lakh jobs over five years. Minister Anitha also noted the influx of major IT companies establishing offices in Visakhapatnam. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Mayor Peela Srinivasa Rao, District Collector MN Harendhira Prasad, and Pendurthi MLA Panchakarla Ramesh Babu.
