**Hubballi, Karnataka – May 9, 2025** – The North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) launched a new initiative, “Namma bus nildana, swaccha nildana” (Our bus station, clean station), aimed at improving the cleanliness and overall upkeep of its bus stations. The campaign encourages passengers to use a QR code displayed at each station to rate various aspects, including cleanliness, toilet maintenance, waste disposal, and staff behavior.
NWKRTC Chairman Bharamagouda (Raju) Kage, Vice-Chairman Peersab Kautal, and Managing Director M. Priyanga unveiled the campaign posters featuring the QR code at the corporation’s central office in Hubballi. The ratings collected will be used to identify top-performing stations and staff, who will receive awards. The initiative also seeks to address shortcomings in amenities and improve staff conduct. Senior NWKRTC officials were present at the launch. The corporation hopes this feedback mechanism will lead to significant improvements across its network.
