**KOLLAM, KERALA –** Malayalam actor Vinayakan was arrested on Thursday, May 8, 2025, for allegedly causing a disturbance at a Kollam hotel while intoxicated. According to Anchalummoodu police, the actor, who had been staying at the hotel since May 2nd for a film shoot, became unruly during checkout. Police were called to the scene, and Vinayakan was taken for a medical examination before being registered under Section 118 (a) of the Kerala Police Act for being intoxicated in a public place. Reports indicate he was shouting at hotel staff and even police officers at the station. He was later released on station bail after an associate acted as surety. This is not the first time the actor has been involved in such an incident.
