Fri May 09 05:40:00 UTC 2025: ## India Presents Visual Evidence of Pakistan’s Terrorism Support Amidst Heightened Tensions
**London/New Delhi –** India has presented what it claims is irrefutable evidence of Pakistan’s support for terrorism, escalating tensions between the two nuclear-armed nations. India’s High Commissioner to the UK, Vikram Doraiswami, revealed a photograph to Sky News depicting senior Pakistani military officials attending the state funeral of terrorists killed in recent Indian airstrikes. The image shows US-sanctioned terrorist Hafiz Abdur Rauf, brother of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar, standing amongst uniformed Pakistani officers at a funeral where Pakistani flags draped the coffins.
This visual evidence, also shared at a press briefing in New Delhi, reinforces India’s long-standing claim that Pakistan’s military actively supports and harbors terrorist groups. The photograph follows India’s retaliatory airstrikes targeting nine terrorist infrastructure sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people. One key target was the Jaish-e-Mohammed headquarters in Bahawalpur.
The BJP released a social media graphic declaring Abdul Rauf Azhar, a key figure in numerous terror attacks including the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, and the 2016 Pathankot airbase assault, as “eliminated.” Doraiswami dismissed Pakistan’s calls for an international investigation, citing a lack of cooperation from Pakistan in previous investigations, including the 2016 Pathankot attack and the 2008 Mumbai attacks, where provided evidence was allegedly ignored or misused. The High Commissioner highlighted India’s willingness to cooperate in the past, allowing Pakistani investigators access to the Pathankot airbase, a gesture that, he claimed, was not reciprocated.
