**Dharamsala, India –** An Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals was abruptly cancelled in Dharamsala on Thursday following air raid alerts in nearby cities. The game, already delayed due to rain, was suspended during the 10th over with Punjab Kings at 122/1. Initially attributed to a floodlight failure, the blackout prompted a stadium evacuation of approximately 18,400 spectators and players due to security concerns stemming from the ongoing military conflict between India and Pakistan.

Prabhsimran Singh (50 off 28) and Priyansh Arya (70 off 34) were at the crease when play was halted. Arya was dismissed by T Natarajan moments before the lights went out. HPCA sources reported an orderly and safe evacuation, with no reported panic.

The cancellation has cast doubt on the future of the IPL.
