**New Delhi, India –** In a significant escalation of tensions, Pakistan launched a large-scale cross-border attack on India late Thursday night, utilizing drones, missiles, and fighter jets targeting Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, and Punjab. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the situation. Reports from Pakistan indicate explosions in Lahore and siren alerts in Islamabad and Karachi.
India’s Ministry of External Affairs firmly stated that the escalation is solely Pakistan’s responsibility. The MEA stated that Pakistan continues to provide safe havens for terrorists and is engaging in disinformation campaigns internationally.
