Fri May 09 14:15:58 UTC 2025: ## Kerala SSLC Exam Results Reveal Disparities in Enrollment
**Thiruvananthapuram, May 9, 2025** – The Kerala SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) exam results have highlighted significant disparities in student enrollment across the state. Education Minister V. Sivankutty announced that two schools, St. Joseph’s School in Kannur and Government Sanskrit High School in Thiruvananthapuram, each had only one student appear for the Class X exam.
The Minister revealed stark differences in student numbers across classes at St. Joseph’s, ranging from 15 students in Class III to a single student in Class X. Similarly, Government Sanskrit High School had minimal enrollment in upper classes.
In response to these findings, the government has identified ten government and aided schools with the lowest pass percentages. Deputy Directors of Education will investigate the reasons for these low pass rates and submit a report before schools reopen on June 2nd. The Minister emphasized the need to address the underlying causes of these enrollment discrepancies.
