**KOCHI, May 9, 2025** – Ernakulam district achieved a 99.76% pass rate in the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) examinations, results for which were announced today. While this represents a slight decrease from last year’s 99.86%, it remains significantly high, exceeding the overall pass percentages of previous years.
A total of 32,468 out of 32,546 students who appeared for the exam successfully cleared it, qualifying them for higher studies. 266 schools achieved a 100% pass rate, including 138 aided, 83 government, and 45 unaided institutions. Ernakulam secured third place among all districts in terms of overall pass percentage.
The results highlight a strong performance across different school types. A notable 5,245 students secured A+ grades in all subjects, with the majority coming from aided schools. Kothamangalam and Muvattupuzha sub-districts led in pass percentages, achieving 99.82% and 99.81%, respectively. These sub-districts also boasted high numbers of students receiving A+ grades in all subjects.
The high pass rate underscores the continued academic success of students in Ernakulam district. While a small dip in the overall pass percentage was observed compared to the previous year, the district maintains a remarkably high standard of education.
