**Mysuru, May 8, 2025** – Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) in Mysuru will hold its annual “Open Day–2025” on May 11th at 10:30 a.m. The event, taking place at the Sri H. Kempegowda Indoor Sports Complex on campus, is designed to assist pre-university (PU) students and their families in navigating the engineering admissions process.

The open day will feature an exhibition of student projects, career guidance sessions, and interactions with experts from the Common Entrance Test (CET) and the industry. Principal B. Sadashive Gowda highlighted the event’s aim to help students explore various engineering fields, understand the college’s projects, and receive guidance on career paths and branch selection.

Gowda emphasized the importance of careful attention to detail during the CET document verification and option entry processes, noting that minor errors can lead to unintended college and branch placements. Experts will be present to advise students on avoiding these pitfalls.

Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with industry professionals, including Sundar K.S. (Infosys), Rahul Deshpande (PravegaSemi), and a CET official, Uday Shankar.
