**Hyderabad, India – May 8, 2025** – Vietnam Airlines has launched a new direct flight route connecting Hyderabad, India, and Hanoi, Vietnam, significantly boosting travel options between the two countries. The thrice-weekly non-stop service commenced on May 7th and operates on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Flight VN-984 departs Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at 11:45 p.m. and arrives at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) at 5:25 a.m. The return flight, VN-985, leaves Hanoi at 7:15 p.m. and lands in Hyderabad at 10:15 p.m.
Pradeep Panicker, CEO of GHIAL (GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited), highlighted the growing popularity of Vietnam as a travel destination for Indians, stating that this new route will cater to the increasing demand from both leisure and business travelers in South India and beyond. Nguyen Trung Hieu, Vietnam Airlines’ Country Manager for India, emphasized the airline’s commitment to expanding its network within India, following the existing services from Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
