**Santa Ana, CA (May 8, 2025)** – A stabbing outside Santa Ana High School on Wednesday afternoon resulted in the death of one student and injuries to two others. The incident occurred as students were leaving school, involving both students and non-students.
According to Santa Ana Police spokesperson Officer Natalie Garcia, three male students were transported to a hospital following the attack. One succumbed to their injuries, while the other two remain in stable condition. Authorities are currently searching for at least two suspects, their connection to the school and motive remaining unclear. The ages of the victims have not yet been released.
Following the stabbing, after-school programs and athletics were canceled. School officials announced that crisis counselors would be available to students on Thursday.
