Thu May 08 03:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Nuggets’ Porter Jr. and Westbrook Cleared for Game 6 Showdown Against Clippers

**DENVER, CO –** The Denver Nuggets received a major boost ahead of their crucial Game 6 matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers. Starting forward Michael Porter Jr. and sixth man Russell Westbrook have been removed from the injury report, the team announced on Twitter.

Porter Jr., who sprained his left shoulder in Game 2, has been playing through the injury. Westbrook, 36, missed most of Game 3 and all of Game 4 due to a foot injury. Both players will be available for Thursday night’s game, giving the Nuggets a full complement of players against a healthy Clippers team.

While Porter Jr. has averaged 11.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.0 assists through five games, Westbrook has provided a spark off the bench, averaging 13.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in his four appearances against his former team.

The Nuggets currently hold a 3-2 series lead, thanks in large part to the stellar performances of Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, and Christian Braun. A win on Thursday would send Denver to the next round of the playoffs.
