**PATNA, INDIA – May 8, 2025** – Following the April 22nd terror attack in Pahalgam, India conducted nationwide civil defense mock drills on Wednesday, May 7th, in Bihar and Jharkhand. The drills, involving blackouts and simulated emergency scenarios in hospitals and government buildings, were held in response to the attack. Simultaneously, India launched “Operation Sindoor,” a retaliatory strike targeting nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.
