**CHENNAI, May 8, 2025** – A 32-year-old painter, Anandan, was murdered in Minjur on Tuesday night, police reported. Two unidentified individuals, who had been partying with Anandan, are suspected of attacking and killing him following an argument.
Anandan, a Minjur resident, lived with his mother and often socialized with friends when his mother visited her daughter. The altercation occurred during a party he hosted at his home. The assailants fled the scene after the attack. Anandan’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and police are actively investigating the crime and searching for the suspects.
