**New Delhi, May 8, 2025** – Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna submitted a report to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today clearing Allahabad High Court Justice Yashwant Varma of allegations related to a cash discovery at his residence. The report, compiled by a three-member Supreme Court panel, followed an inquiry into a fire incident at Justice Varma’s Delhi home on March 14th.

The panel, comprising Chief Justices Sheel Nagu (Punjab & Haryana HC), G S Sandhawalia (Himachal Pradesh HC), and Justice Anu Sivaraman (Karnataka HC), interviewed over 50 individuals, including Delhi Police and Fire Service officials.
