NEW DELHI, May 8, 2025 – Delhi University held a successful placement drive and internship fair on Wednesday, attracting 31 companies and resulting in 1,100 students being shortlisted from a pool of 1,367 applicants. The companies offered approximately 1,200 vacancies across various sectors.
The Dean of Students’ Welfare, Ranjan Kumar Tripathi, expressed the university’s commitment to 100% placement, citing over 1,800 placements last year with a highest package of ₹37 lakh per year. The university provides interview training in collaboration with various experts.
The fair featured a range of opportunities, with tech company Expert Global offering a ₹12 lakh annual package and Axis IIT/NEET offering up to ₹7.2 lakh annually plus a ₹30,000 monthly stipend. Student testimonials highlighted diverse career aspirations, from business and finance roles to summer internships. One alumnus, Atul Rajput, shared his journey from participating in the university’s internship scheme to becoming a recruiter at the fair.
