**New Delhi:** Following the conclusion of “Operation Sindur,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high-level meeting today with top government officials to review national security preparedness and inter-ministerial coordination. The meeting followed earlier briefings by National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and the Union Home Secretary.

The meeting, attended by cabinet secretaries and secretaries from key ministries including defense, home affairs, foreign affairs, information and broadcasting, power, health, and telecommunications, focused on strengthening national security mechanisms. PM Modi stressed seamless coordination and communication between various departments and agencies, urging all secretaries to pay close attention to their departmental protocols and emergency response mechanisms.

Discussions centered on enhancing citizen security, combating misinformation and fake news, and securing critical infrastructure. The need for close coordination between ministries, state authorities, and grassroots organizations was also highlighted. Secretaries reportedly detailed their respective departments’ preparedness plans and affirmed their readiness to handle any contingency.

The Prime Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to national security, operational readiness, and citizen safety, emphasizing the need for constant vigilance and clear communication among all agencies during this sensitive period.
