**FRISCO, TEXAS** – The Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM Awards) is gearing up for a star-studded 60th anniversary celebration. Ten major country music artists have already been confirmed to perform at the event, including Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Chris Stapleton, Clint Black, Cody Johnson, Kelsea Ballerini, LeAnn Rimes, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, and Wynonna Judd. While the specific song choices remain under wraps until the show itself on May 8th, hints from Ballerini and Jackson suggest potential performances of “Baggage” and “Good Time,” respectively.
The show, hosted by Reba McEntire, will air live on Prime Video at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
Adding to the excitement, a free, two-day concert series featuring a diverse lineup of country artists will precede the main event. Ashley Cooke, Dasha, Drew Baldridge, George Birge, Josh Abbott Band, Kassi Ashton, Maggie Antone, Restless Road, Tucker Wetmore, The Wilder Blue, and William Beckman will take the stage at the outdoor Carhartt stage on May 6th and 7th from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. This pre-show celebration promises to kick off the ACM Awards weekend in style.
