**Bengaluru, India (May 7, 2025)** – India launched a military operation, codenamed “Operation Sindoor,” targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir earlier today, according to a press conference held by Colonel Sofiya Qureshi of the Ministry of External Affairs. The operation is a response to a terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22nd that resulted in 28 deaths.
