**Houston, TX – May 5, 2025** – Whataburger is showing its appreciation for teachers this week with a special Teacher Appreciation Week promotion. From May 5th to 9th, educators can enjoy a free breakfast entrée at participating locations between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. A valid school ID is required for this offer, which is valid for dine-in, drive-thru, and takeout.
The fast-food chain is also celebrating its 75th anniversary by awarding $75,000 in classroom grants. Seventy-five teachers across Whataburger’s 16-state operating area will each receive a $1,000 “WhataTeacher” grant. These grants recognize educators who make a significant positive impact on their students and communities. This initiative builds on Whataburger’s “Feeding Student Success” program, which has already donated over $160,000 in grants since 2022.
