**KOCHI, Kerala – May 7, 2025** – Congress party workers in Palakkad, Kerala, staged a protest march on Tuesday demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan over allegations of widespread corruption within his office.

The march, organized by the District Congress Committee (DCC), culminated at the District Collectorate. MP Benny Behanan, who inaugurated the protest, accused the Chief Minister and his office of being deeply embroiled in corrupt practices. He further alleged that the Chief Minister’s daughter is an ambassador of corruption and that officials at all levels, from the Chief Secretary down, have facilitated these activities.

Several other Congress leaders, including MPs V.K. Sreekandan, and numerous party officials, addressed the gathering, echoing the calls for Vijayan’s resignation. The protest underscores growing public concern over alleged corruption within the Kerala state government.
