**Salem, May 6, 2025** – A 29-year-old woman from Jharkhand was arrested at Salem Railway Junction on Monday for possessing 3.5 kilograms of ganja. Acting on a tip-off, Narcotic Intelligence Bureau CID (NIB-CID) police intercepted the woman on the Dhanbad-Alappuzha Express train. The suspect, identified as Anjal Kumari, is currently in police custody. The seized ganja has been confiscated as evidence.
