**Madurai, May 6, 2025** – Water levels in major Tamil Nadu dams remain stable, according to the latest reports. The Mullaperiyar dam registered a level of 114.25 feet (maximum 142 feet), with inflow and outflow both at 100 cusecs. Vaigai dam’s level stood at 55.38 feet (maximum 71 feet), with an inflow of 14 cusecs and an outflow of 72 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 2,024.23 mcft. Light rainfall was recorded in the region, with Shanmuganadhi dam receiving the highest amount at 28.8 mm in the 24 hours ending Tuesday morning. Gudalur saw 12.4 mm, Mullaperiyar 5.4 mm, and Thekkadi 0.6 mm.
