**QUETTA, PAKISTAN –** The death toll from a devastating oil tanker explosion in southwest Pakistan has risen to 19, officials confirmed Monday. The April 28th incident in Noshki, Balochistan province, occurred after a crowd gathered to try and extinguish the burning tanker, which had pulled over near a market. The resulting explosion injured over 40 people, many of whom were transported to Karachi for treatment. Police are investigating potential negligence as a contributing factor to the tragedy.
