**Bhopal, India** – The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) announced the Class 10 results today, revealing a significant jump in the pass percentage. Over 75% of students cleared the examination, a substantial increase from last year’s 58.1% for regular students. The MPBSE website, mpbse.nic.in, published the results and detailed statistics, including district-wise and school-type breakdowns.
Narsingpur district topped the charts with a remarkable 92.73% pass rate for regular students, achieving the highest percentage in both government and private schools (93.69% and 90.74%, respectively). In contrast, Damoh district had the lowest pass percentage at 53.38% for regular students and a mere 7.12% for those studying privately.
A total of 212 students scored over 490 marks. The overall results also highlighted a gender gap, with girls outperforming boys in both regular and private study categories. Girls achieved a 79.29% pass rate in regular schools compared to 73.21% for boys. This trend continued amongst private candidates, with girls at 29.86% and boys at 27.93%.
The number of regular students appearing for the exam has decreased over the years, from 951,485 in 2022 to 810,019 in 2025. However, there’s been a slight rise in private candidates, from 114,678 in 2022 to 143,328 in 2025. The MPBSE has released a comprehensive report with detailed district-wise statistics.
