ATLANTA, GA (May 5, 2025) – CBS Sports will provide comprehensive coverage of the Round of 32 of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, the oldest ongoing national soccer competition in the United States. The tournament, which features matchups between Major League Soccer (MLS) teams and lower division clubs, begins its Round of 32 on May 7th.

CBS Sports Golazo Network will offer free broadcasts of select matches, including a special “Golazo Show” on Wednesday, May 7th at 7 p.m. ET, showcasing all the goals from that day’s games. Paramount+ will stream all Round of 32 matches live, with additional games airing on CBS Sports Network. Pre- and post-game studio shows, hosted by Nico Cantor and Aly Trost Martin, will also air on both Paramount+ and the Golazo Network, featuring analysis from Charlie Davies, Mike Grella, Ian Joy, and Tony Meola.

This extensive coverage is part of a multimedia rights agreement between U.S. Soccer and CBS Sports for the 2025 and 2026 Open Cup seasons. In addition to game broadcasts, CBS Sports will produce digital content, including features on the tournament’s history and participating teams.

The winner of the 2025 U.S. Open Cup will receive a $600,000 prize, a berth in the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup, and their name engraved on the Dewar Challenge Trophy.
