**Bengaluru, May 6, 2025** – A housekeeping worker at Anand Sweets in Koramangala, Bengaluru, has been arrested for allegedly recording a woman in a washroom using his mobile phone. The incident occurred on April 25th.
The 25-year-old victim, a private firm employee, noticed a phone recording her through a fiber glass wall while she was using the washroom. She alerted authorities and filed a complaint with the Koramangala police.
Police registered a First Information Report (FIR) under Section 77 (voyeurism) and arrested the accused. However, the phone used to record the video has not yet been recovered.
The victim subsequently shared her experience on social media, highlighting the lack of safety in public places and encouraging women to speak out against sexual harassment.
