**Amroha, Uttar Pradesh:** Pawandeep Rajan, winner of Indian Idol 12, was seriously injured in a car accident late on [Date of accident] on National Highway 9 near Gajraula. Rajan’s car collided with a stationary Eicher Canter truck around 3 am. Three people, including Rajan, sustained serious injuries.

Police responded to the scene and transported the injured to a private hospital in Amroha. Due to the severity of his injuries, Rajan was subsequently transferred to a higher medical center in Noida. Initial reports suggest that Rajan, who was traveling from Champawat, Uttarakhand, to Delhi for a program, may have fallen asleep at the wheel, causing him to lose control of his vehicle.
