**Baramulla, [Date]** – The Youth Services and Sports (YSS) department of Baramulla, in collaboration with the Social Welfare Department, has launched a series of zonal-level open volleyball tournaments as part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA), a nationwide campaign against drug abuse. The initiative, directed by the Deputy Commissioner of Baramulla, aims to promote a healthy and drug-free society through sports.

Tournaments have already begun across several zones. In Dangerpora, a competitive match was held between Cluster Tujjer and Cluster Dangerpora at the Higher Secondary School, showcasing the enthusiastic participation of local youth. Simultaneously, tournaments commenced in Sopore at the Boys Higher Secondary School and in Singpora Pattan at the High School Malmooh Pattan, drawing strong community involvement. The Uri zone concluded its tournament, with Nambla Club emerging victorious after a spirited competition among six teams.

These volleyball tournaments are not only promoting healthy lifestyles but also serving as a vital platform to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse among young people. The YSS Baramulla reiterated its commitment to empowering youth through such collaborative initiatives.
